This release here is the evaporated essence of one year GET YOUR GENKI to celebrate....well.....one year of Get Your Genki :-)

In order to find a good cross-section of the bands that are represented on this compilation, quite a few people all over the world were interviewed, lists were created and discarded , discussions were held,, referees were appointed etc etc , but the final decision was never easy for us, because ALL the bands on GYG are fantastic and deserve your attention!
